A break in our reguarly scheduled venting

I'm not going to get into how the past week has been for me, because I am too fucking annoyed and frustrated with life right now. Thankfully for your viewing pleasure, it's not the type of annoyance that will be lessened by sharing.

Be glad. If it wasn't for that, this entry would be a venomous snake pit of spewing bile.

There was cookie-devouring just prior to writing this entry. That helped.

But since I haven't updated in a while, I thought I'd direct your attention to this.

It's the Music Genome Project over at Pandora.  Essentially they've devised a system to analyze each itty bitty characteristic of what goes into a song, so if you input your favorite song, the system will present several songs very similiar to your fave with the same characteristics. It's a great tool for discovering bands and songs you've never heard of but could possibly love.

And just kind of a cool concept in general.
